I had a friend show me a slideshow she is doing for a college class, her subject was global warming. She wanted me to take a look at it, so I did. Mind you, I know the basics about it, in a nutshell, we are killing everything that we depend upon for survival off. I do not think about it much, but in some weird way I was told that I do, just not on a big scale. Like, people tend to take things to recycling centers, yet if it drops out the back of their vehicle or trailer, they leave it! I find this troubling and revolting! I also find people who do not spay or neuter their animals pretty much in the group of " My dog is a boy, he won't get pregnant" in the same grouping as those who leave their garbage for others to take care of, better known as uneducated slackers!!!

Rain fell, like a waterfall nothing could be seen through it blinding liquid blanket. When the black shape pulled up to the curb to rest, beneath the sound of the deluge of water you could hear a faint roar, like some mystical dragon being kept in line, though barely. Then from the mishappened shape, three shadows merged and moved as one towards the the rather non descript building, the moment the shadows merged from the beast the dull roar stopped, like a beast whos throat had been slit.
shadows moved towards the building, footfalls disguised by the rainfall, yet it would not have mattered, you could almost feel the trouble wafting from them as they moved, ever closer. Then, one small hand reached out to pull the heavy brushed steel door forward. Water merged forth, a small river sliding across a marbled floor, then three shapes, slowly taking on color, sound, a life of their own, of sorts.
